Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek-Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actor and producer. Her career began in Mexico with starring roles in the Telenovela Teresa (1989-1991) as also in the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she earned an Ariel Award nomination. With appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) In 1999, she quickly established herself in Hollywood. Hayek's role as Frida Kahlo as a painter in Frida (2002) which was a biographical documentary she made that earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. In addition, she received her Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award as well as British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek appeared in the action-packed Once Upon a Time in Mexico pictures in subsequent years and focused on producing.
