sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was christened Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan on July 6 in 1946. Stallone is the son of the elder of Francesco "Frank" Stallone Jr. is an Italian hairdresser as well as Jackie Stallone Sr., an astrologer/dancer. Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother, is an actor, musician and hairdresser. Because of the complications that occurred during the birth of his daughter, Sylvester's lower left side was paralyzed. This gave him the now famous "snarling" speech, slurred words and distinctive look. Due to the conflicting relationships between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. The couple divorced later. Stallone studied drama in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. Stallone quit school to explore acting in New York City.
