Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American artist and performer who gained fame when she took home American Idol's talent contest in 2002. Clarkson was born and raised at Burleson Texas (a suburban area in Fort Worth), where her singing abilities were first recognized by her seventh grade music teacher. After graduating high school, Clarkson moved into Los Angeles to try to make it in the entertainment industry. She was selected to participate in the Fox Broadcasting Co.'s American Idol singing competition, that allowed the viewers to vote for their preferred performer. Clarkson was loved by viewers for her charismatic voice and sense of humor. Clarkson took home $1 million and an agreement recording for RCA as her prize.
