Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who was raised up in Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from University of California San Diego and received her first big break as an actress. After making small appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas landed the role in the role of Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. The actress, who quit The soap after 2016 got the part of Catalina as a regular in Jane the Virgin. The model speaks four different languages and has since appeared as Catalina in The Brave with Hannah Rivera as well as The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
